August Newsletter

Well Hello Ladies,

Sorry, but it has been a while since our last newsletter. We have been very busy unpacking parcels of new fabrics. It’s so exciting to see the fabrics finally arriving and filling up the shelves. We have been waiting for some of them since February and don’t always remember exactly what we did order. It has also great over the last few days to finally see some sunshine. It certainly lifts the spirits and increases the motivation.

Above is a lovely sepia range it features lots of little children at play. It comes as a panel with co-ordinating fabrics.

Recent arrivals are some new Marg Lowe patterns featuring a few of her Christmas designs. Some of these are quick and simple, just great for the busy lady. Also arriving soon are some Gail Pan designs. Recent fabric arrivals include Lynette Anderson’s, Hollyhock Cottage range. These are in blue and brown tones and just gorgeous.

Anni Down’s Christmas time range has also just arrived, including her Christmas panel. We also stock a range of her patterns and notepads.

We are also quite excited about putting together our first Block of the Month. We have chosen Leanne’s House, Journey of a Quilter. We are mainly using Rosies Love Letters fabric, which are pretty florals in pinks, greens and cream tones. Here is a sneak preview of one of the blocks. There will be a limited number of cuts. We are in the early stages of this. If you are interested in this BOM please call in or contact us and we can put your name down on the list. We will contact you closer to the time so you can confirm if you would like to be part of this. We have kept the number of cuts small this time as it is our first attempt at a BOM.

Many of our Christmas fabrics have finally arrived and we are slowly building up our range of basics so if you haven’t been in for a while come on in for a look and a chat. We would love to see you. Enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.

Happy Stitching

Kelly and Julie
