Welcome to the New Year. We are very excited to be back up and running. Our new hours are:

Wed to Fri 9.30 til 3pm ish and by appointment.

We recommend that if you are coming from a distance to ring and check that we are open. Sometimes we may need to leave early for family commitments. We will endeavour to post on Facebook if we will be closed for any reasons. We are also looking into the possibility of being open on at Saturday in the future. If any craft groups are wanting to visit but we are not open please don’t hesitate to ring and we will arrange something with you.

Our phone numbers are Julie: 0276342525 or

Kelly 0272746778.

We are putting the last coats of paint on our new class room in the coming week and are very pleased with our new area. We hope over the Summer Holidays that you have all had a chance to relax with some stitching. We are still currently putting together our class list for the year but will be able to have this out shortly to you.

We do have our first class ready to go. We have the very talented Julie Rose teaching “Flight of a Summer Bloom” Quilt.

This class is run over two days

Sunday 5th March and Sunday 2nd April

10.30 – 4.30pm at $160 for the two days.

Tea and Coffee provided.

$80.00 non-refundable deposit due by 24th February.

Be in quick as there are only a few spaces left.

One of the next classes is a beginners quilt class which will also be run by Julie Rose. It will be run over several lessons so if you or any of your friends are wanting to try your hand at quilting with an amazing teacher please give us a call with any inquiries. We look forward to hearing from you. Picture of quilt to follow in next newsletter and we will post it on Facebook shortly.

We have recently received back from Alison Bufton our Block of the Month quilt “Teacups and Butterflies”. She has done a beautiful job of machine quilting this stunning quilt done in Tilda Fabrics. There are some spaces still left so call in to the shop and see what would have to be one of my favourite quilts that i have created.

We are hoping to send out a regular newsletter from now on to keep you updated with our latest classes and purchases. We look forward to seeing you all in the near future

Happy Stitching
